Sjeme heljde je mnogo zdravije od pšenice i ne sadrži gluten, tako da ga mogu koristiti i osobe koje imaju alergiju na gluten.

Recept koji slijedi sadrži i bijelo brašno, koje se može potpuno izbaciti ako želite iskljucivo heljdin hljeb.

Sastojci za hljeb od heljde:

0,5 kg bijelog brašna (moze se potpuno izbaciti i koristiti samo heljda)
5 kašika heljdinog brašna
1 kesica kvasca
Kašičica soli
Kašičica šećera
3 kašike maslinovog ulja
4 dcl mlake vode

Način pripreme hleba od heljde:

  1. -Prosijati 0.5 kg bijelog brašna, pa dodati 5 kašika heljdinog.
  2. Dobro izmješati i dodati kesicu kvasca, kašičicu soli i kašičicu šećera, i 3 kašike maslinovog ulja.
  3. Zamesiti sa toplom vodom (otprilike 4 dcl), pa ostaviti da nadođe (30-40 min).
  4. Premesite i sipati u podmazanom pleh. Gornja kora ce biti ljepša ako se premaže uljem.Staviti na 250C pa peći oko 45 min na 200C…
